Bio: Smain Femmam is Director of research at the University of Haute-Alsace France and responsible of the Research team on Signals & Safety Systems of Polytechnic Engineers School Sceaux France. He received the MS and Ph.D. degrees in Signal Processing and Computers from Versailles University, France in 1997 and 1999 respectively. Since 2013 he is promoted to a rank of senior director of research (HDR). After that, he joined the CMU Carnegie Mellon University & West Virginia University as Postdoc Fellow and Distinguished Visiting Professor. His main research area is signal processing, safety systems, communication and embedded systems. He has a strong interest in perception and characterization of signals, optimal filtering, spectral analysis, wavelets and perception haptics. Dr. Femmam is a senior member of IEEE, SEE and GDR ISIS. Member of IEEE C.A. committee France section. Board of Director of the Institute for Engineering and Technology Innovations in the World. He has guided numerous thesis projects, including some doctoral theses. He is active reviewer for several scientific academic journals and committee member of international conferences. He is the (Academic, Chief) Editor-in-Chief, Editor, Editorial Board, Guest Editor & Advisory Board members of more than 20 International Journals. Bio: Paolo Mercorelli (Member, IEEE) received a PhD degree in systems engineering from the University of Bologna, Bologna, Italy, in 1998. From 1998 to 2001 he was Postdoctoral Researcher with Asea Brown Boveri Corporate Research, Heidelberg, Germany, and this research activity has brought him 3 patents. From 2002 to 2005 he was Senior Researcher with the Institute of Automation and Informatics, Wernigerode, Germany, where he was the leader of the control group. From 2005 to 2011 he was Associate Professor of Process Informatics with Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences, Wolfsburg, Germany. Since 2012, he has been Full Professor and Chair of control and drive systems with the Institute for Production Technology and Systems, Leuphana University of Lueneburg, Lueneburg, Germany. Since winter semester 2024/2025, he has been Visiting Professor with the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technology of Lublin University of Technology, Poland, where he has been responsible for different courses in the field of control theory. His current research interests include applications of Kalman filters, robotics, wavelets, geometric control, and sliding mode control. Dr. Mercorelli was the recipient of a three-year scholarship from the Marie Curie Actions Research Fellowship Program, which is one of the most competitive and prestigious European awards sponsored by the European Commission from 1998 to 2001. He received seven best international conferences paper awards: IECON 2013, IECON 2014, CoDIT 2014, ICCC 2017, FedCSIS 2019, ACD 2019, ICCC 2020, ICSTCC 2023. Bio: Huang Faming, male, doctoral supervisor and associate professor, is recognized as a young talent of "Double Thousand" high-end innovation in Jiangxi Province and an outstanding young scholar in Jiangxi Province. In 2015, he was dispatched by the Ministry of Education for a one-year joint doctoral training program in Australia. He graduated with a PhD from China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) in 2017. His main research focuses include interpretable machine learning modeling, the causal mechanisms of landslides, and the quantitative assessment of landslide risks based on GIS and machine learning. Mr. Huang serves as the deputy editor-in-chief of the CSCD core journal "Geological Science and Technology Bulletin" and the SCI journal "Frontiers in Earth Science", as well as a member of the editorial boards of high-quality journals such as "International Journal of Applied Nonlinear Science", "Natural Hazards Research", and "Discover Geoscience". Bio: Prof. Sisi Zlatanova have graduated as a surveyor at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (Bulgaria) and obtained PhD degree on 3D GIS for Urban Development at the Graz University of Technology (Austria). She worked as a software programmer at the Central Cadastre (Bulgaria) and have been at academic positions at UACG (Bulgaria), the Institute for Geo-information Science and Earth Observation (ITC, the Netherlands), Graz University of Technology (Austria), Delft University of Technology (the Netherlands) and Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technologies (Russia).She has joined the University of New South Wales in January, 2018. She supervise master and PhD students on topics related to 3D spatial modelling and analysis.Prof. Sisi Zlatanova recent research concentrates on 3D Indoor modelling and navigation. Bio: Ke-Lin Du received his PhD in electrical engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China, in 1998. He has been a professor in Faculty of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering, Guangdong University of Sciene and Technology, Dongguan, China, since 2024. From 2011 to 2024, he served as an Affiliate Associate Professor and then an Affiliate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Concordia University, where he was also on the research staff from 2001 to 2010. In the past, he held technical and research positions at Huawei Technologies, China Academy of Telecommunication Technology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Enjoyor Inc., and Xonlink Inc. Dr. Du has coauthored five books with M. N. S. Swamy, including Neural Networks in a Softcomputing Framework (Springer, London, 2006), Wireless Communication Systems (Cambridge University Press, New York, 2010), Neural Networks and Statistical Learning (Springer, London, 2014, and 2nd edition, 2019), and Search and Optimization by Metaheuristics (Springer, 2016). He has also coedited 13 books published by Springer between 2021 and 2022. Additionally, he has published 60 papers and holds six U.S. patents and more than 30 Chinese patents. His research interests include signal processing, wireless communications, and machine learning. He has co-supervised 13 graduate students. Dr. Du has been a Senior Member of the IEEE since 2009. He has served on the editorial boards of IET Signal Processing (since 2007), Circuits Systems & Signal Processing (since 2009), Mathematics (since 2021), AI (since 2021), IEEE Spectrum Chinese Language Edition (since 2012), and Scientific Reports (since 2022).
